OBDSTAR Launches MB FBS3 / FBS4 TCM OBD Virginization Solution

OBDSTAR officially announces a major software update supporting MB FBS3 and FBS4 TCM OBD Virginization. This new solution allows safe and efficient transmission control module (TCM) reset without the need for cutting or soldering.

The function is available on OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 and DC706, helping workshops significantly reduce operational risk while improving work efficiency.

New OBD Virginization Solution – Safe & Non-Destructive
With the latest OBDSTAR software update, MB FBS3 and FBS4 TCMs can now be virginized directly through:
  • OBD Mode
  • BENCH Mode
No cutting.
No soldering.

After reading the original vehicle ECU data and completing personalization (data transfer), the used TCM can be restored to factory-original (virgin) condition. No additional online programming is required.
Install the module and start the vehicle immediately — improving workshop efficiency while eliminating operational risks.

The solution supports:
  • FBS3 (VGS2 / VGS3-NAG2)
  • FBS4 (VGS4-0-NAG2)
