OBDSTAR ECU Master software license for configuration A is a digital software license that unlocks A (passenger vehicles and electric vehicles) on an ECU Master you already own. Configuration A unlocks engine management, transmission, body and chassis modules, and battery management and vehicle control modules for electric vehicles.

Activating and using the softwar license follows a straightforward process.

• Find Your Serial Number: Note the 12-character serial number of the OBDSTAR ECU Master.
• Order the license: Place your order and enter the serial number in the notes field during checkout or send the SN to us
• Automatic activation: The license is automatically linked to your serial number, typically within 1 business day.
• Connect your device: Power on the ECU Master and connect to a stable internet network.
• Log in device: launch the ECU Master software on your PC and log in with your account.
• Download updates: Open the update menu, select your desired softwares, download and install them
• Ready to use: Once complete, your updated software is immediately ready for vehicles.

Serial Number Information

To activate your license, you'll need the 12-character serial number of your ECU Master. You can find this number in the following locations:

• Back of the device: The serial number is printed on the label or sticker on the back of your ECU Master.
• Info or settings menu: The serial number appears in the system of the ECU Master software under device information.
• OBDSTAR account portal: Once your device is registered, you can find the serial number in your linked account environment.
